We’ve all done it. Be it on a real golf course, in our backyards, or at a driving range, we’ve all attempted the famed Happy Gilmore tee shot—the hop step and wild swing where you have a better chance of completely whiffing than making solid contact. I can’t say I’ve ever seen professional golfers attempt the feat, but that changed today.
A handful of ball whackers are overseas this week competing in the Scottish Open, a tune-up of sorts for next week’s Open Championship, the third major of the year.
