It’s been a rough go for the crew in Bristol, Connecticut of late. From the mass layoffs to the declining ratings, to Bill Simmons being on TV, it’s just not a pretty sight. And it only got worse today after the Worldwide Leader In Sports got served on Twitter by the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks are a hockey team in the National Hockey League, for all of you regular ESPN watchers who probably don’t know a whole lot about the Gary Bettman’s league (he’s the NHL commissioner).
Anyway, the folks at ESPN, in classing trolling fashion, tried to capitalize on the #SharkNado craze by suggesting the Sharks change their name. The Sharks’ response? Classic.
The St. Louis Blues dared to step in the troll-infested waters and were sent away by San Jose.
